I consider myself a realist painter since I’ve been sharing clear images of experience for quite awhile now but I believe realism is not the point of art. The point of art for me is evoking emotions, triggering sentiments of our brain. Abstract has it, it exaggerates, distorts and simplifies the world to effectively transcend feelings.
